Home page & widgets

Home is where the app opens: a search box to jump anywhere, buttons to start working, live stats, your vaults and your recent sessions. Click the house icon at the left of the top bar to return to it.

Quick jump

The search box at the top finds hosts, identities, access profiles and vaults as you type, and also offers actions (run) such as New local terminal, Connect to a host and New vault. Each result is tagged with its kind. Press ⌘K / Ctrl+K on Home to jump to the box, then use the arrow keys and Enter to open a result.

Launch actions

Beside the search box:

Widgets

A row of live statistics:

  • Live Hosts — how many sessions are running right now, and how many port forwards are up.
  • Live Port Forwards — running tunnels with their route and open connections. Click a row to open that forward's edit form, or Manage to go to your vaults. Tunnels in locked vaults are counted but not listed.
  • Sessions · last 7 days — your activity over the past week, with the number of commands run.
  • This Mac / This PC / This machine — this computer's IP address and its CPU, memory and disk usage.

Vaults

Every vault as a card, with its lock state, sync status and the number of live terminals. Click a card to open it, or to unlock it first. The card's menu has Rename, Lock vault and Delete vault.

The header has Sync, which runs a sync pass now (hover for when it last ran), and New vault. A sync error is shown on Home even while vaults are locked. See Vault sync.

Recent sessions

Sessions you've opened, newest first, with where they ran and when:

  • A live session shows a green dot and Attach to jump back to its tab.
  • An ended one offers Reopen or Reconnect.
  • A host that has since been deleted stays in the history, marked deleted.

Clear forgets the list on this device only.

Tips

  • With many vaults or sessions, each panel scrolls on its own, and a N more hint shows what's below.
